After reading the book that you sent I met up with the Bear Guy and we talked for two hours. The main thing I learned when encountering a bear is to stand up to them. Don't back down. Yell! Throw things at them. So glad to hear that since I'm not very good at backing off. Ya know?
I finished the book yesterday and included it in the hotel library. A lot of the books had the name of the hotel written across the top, but mine said, "Read Me!" in large letters.
Today we are heading for Atlanta to drop my car off with the Gee's Bend folks. They are going to keep it while I am on the hike.
Then we are heading for another car show in Ohio. Ohio?!?!?! Isn't it going to be COLD up there? Yuck!
